FEEDING DIRECTIONS: SeaLife All Natural Kelp Meal for Animals is intended to be used as part of a complete balanced feed program, to provide supplemental trace minerals when used in accordance with the following suggested feeding guidelines:
Dairy and Beef Cattle
• Mature cattle should consume between 2-4 oz./head/day, on average.
• Offer free-choice, or mix 2.0% Kelp Meal with grain ration.
Calves and Heifers
• Calves and Heifers should consume between 0.5-1.0 oz./head/day, on average.
• Offer free-choice, or mix 2.0% Kelp Meal with grain ration.
Sheep
• Mature sheep should consume between 0.25-0.5 oz./head/day, on average.
• Offer free-choice, or mix 2.0% Kelp Meal with grain ration.
Goats
• Mature goats should consume between 0.25-0.5 oz./head/day, on average.
• Offer free-choice, or mix 2.0% Kelp Meal with grain ration.
Swine
• Mature swine should consume between 1-2 oz./head/day, on average.
• Top-dress, or mix 1.0% Kelp Meal with grain ration.
Poultry
• Mix 1% kelp meal with grain ration.
Horses
• Horses should consume 0.125-0.5 oz./head/day, or 0.25 oz. per 500 lbs. of body weight. Do not offer other sources of iodine.
• Top dress, or offer by hand.
Cervids
*Deer should consume 0.5-1.0 oz/head/day, on average* Offer free choice or mix 2% Kelp Meal with grain ration.
